Approximate retail value of $1,000.00 CAD. A gift card for recipe ingredients will be provided to winner prior to the Class. Sponsor will coordinate and arrange the Class date and time with winner via email. The Class must be scheduled within six (6) months of prize award. Class schedule and availability may be limited to specific days and times at Sponsor’s discretion. No prize substitution or cash equivalent of prize. No prize transfer. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
Sponsor shall not bear any liability whatsoever for any property damage or personal injury in any way attributed to the prize. Selected prize recipient must sign and return a declaration of compliance with the contest rules and a liability release form releasing the Sponsor, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and participating retailers from all liability of any kind in connection with the contest, or occurring as a result of the prize being awarded. Selected prize recipient may also be required to sign a document in a form acceptable to the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch (“BCLDB”) releasing the BCLDB, their directors, officers, employees and agents from all liability of any kind in connection with the contest, or occurring as a result of the prize being awarded.
Winner will be notified by either telephone, SMS message or email. Any costs or expenses incurred by the winner in claiming or using their prizes will be the responsibility of the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if stated prize becomes unavailable.
Sponsor is not responsible for (i) late, lost, delayed, not received, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or illegible entries, or (ii) failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, servers, access providers, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or recipient. The SMS text messaging method of entry is designed to work with most of the major wireless carriers in Canada, but Sponsor makes no guarantee that any particular wireless service provider will participate. If any dispute arises as to identity of any entrant, an entrant shall be considered the authorized cellular or email account holder by the cellular or internet provider. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned a number or email address by the service provider or as shown on the service provider’s records or the natural person authorized to use the account by an entity that is shown on service provider’s records for that account. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if, in its sole discretion, it determines that the contest is not capable of running as originally planned for any reason (such as tampering or infection by computer virus, fraud, technical failures, printing or distribution errors, or any other causes or occurrences have compromised the fairness or integrity of the contest). If, as a result of an error relating to the entry process, drawing or any other aspect of the contest, there are more potential winners of prizes than contemplated in the contest rules, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible prize claimants after the contest closing date to award the prize.
Winner will be randomly drawn by the contest judges. The draw will take place in Vancouver, BC on or about January 31, 2023 at 12:01 pm PST. In order to be declared a winner, selected entrant must have correctly answered unassisted the mathematical skill-testing question, to be administered at a mutually convenient time. The chances of winning one of the Grand Prize depends upon the total number of eligible entries received. Entrants, by entering this contest, consent to the use of their name, photograph and entry, without compensation, in any future publicity or marketing efforts carried out by Sponsor. Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the contest judges, which are final.
